1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SmoothSheet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SmoothSheet is a web application that allows users to upload CSV and Excel files to Google Sheets using server-side processing. The Service requires a Google account for authentication.

3. User Accounts

You must have a valid Google account to use the Service
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious content
Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Use the Service to violate any third party's rights
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Subscription and Payments

Free Tier

The free tier includes 10 uploads per month with a maximum of 5,000 rows per upload.

Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period
Prices may change with 30 days notice

6. Refund Policy

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for issues caused by our Service. Refunds are not provided for:

Change of mind after purchase
Issues caused by your file format or data
Partial month usage after cancellation

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of the charge.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by SmoothSheet. You retain ownership of any data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SMOOTHSHEET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice on the Service.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
